In honor of SpongeBob SquarePants’ 25th anniversary, we teamed up with illustrator Sehee Chae to create this one-of-a-kind plush!

There's no one SpongeBob loves more than his two pals Patrick Star and Gary the Snail. And with this plush, it’ll be easy for the trio to go everywhere together! Measuring 13 inches tall, this SpongeBob Interactive Plush, based on an illustration by artist Sehee Chae, is a must-have for any fan of the long-running Nickelodeon show that first debuted in 1999. Complete with his twinkly eyes and trademark smile, SpongeBob will be the standout plush in your collection. If that wasn’t enough, the lovable sponge features two magnetic touchpoints, one on his head and the other on his hip, to attach mini versions of Patrick and Gary—both included and measuring 6 inches tall each. Whether you want to keep all three of them together, or just add one, life is always more fun when you have your friends by your side!

About the Artist

Chae, aka Pie, is a South Korean-based illustrator who was born in Seoul. Known for her use of bright colors, she wanted to continue with that theme to convey a congratulatory message in celebration of SpongeBob’s 25th anniversary. “To showcase SpongeBob and his friends’ innocent nature, I illustrated them with bright, cheerful expressions, and I used warm yet vibrant colors to represent their quirky but kind personalities,” said Pie. Pie also played up everything around them like the seaweed and corals to be bright and vibrant as well.

Pie's illustrations have widely appeared in advertising and books. She’s also produced album cover art for Korean pop stars and musicians, picture books for teenagers and children, and book covers. A lot of her work features nature, animals, and children, and her brightly colored illustrations capture their interactions in a distinctively playful way.
