GIR’s green mongoose-dog costume is made of soft materials, while GIR himself is made of smooth, silver lamé fabric. Weighted beads help keep him sitting upright, and a bendable antenna on his head folds down when his costume is zipped up, so he doesn’t reveal his true self.
